Hey guys,

I've asked my supplier to give me the FULL price list for the DBA catalogue so I'm not bothering him every couple of days with new price requests. Hopefully he'll come through and I can get back to you guys quicker without having to go through him each time.
Andrew has been sussing out the legal BS that we need to finalise before we able to sell anything. But in the meantime, I appreciate your patience while we take the time to prepare ourselves and build business contacts to make things run smoothly when we are officially a business.
In the meantime, feel free to add to the list anything you want ideas on or are ready to commit to. The more people willing to commit, the easier it is for Andrew and I to garuantee a firm price. We might need to put a limit on the sales when we've sorted it all out, just so that we work a manageable amount of units without creating something too large to handle in one transaction. This would also mean that people who are happy to wait until the next order, will help bring up the numbers to keep the prices down on the next orders, etc...

Chris: You can put larger rotors on, but you'll need the correct hat size and rotor thickness, and you'll need to relocate your calipers. If you want to go this way, please wait until the planned BG and BJ big brake upgrades have been completed before you make a decision.

Take it easy,
Gav.

ugh something definitely on my wishlist, but my car just passed 30Ks and i expect the rotors to hold for quite some time.

however, i'd like to know which spec would suit street driving for my SP20, and is there any rotor up-size possible/involved? thanks.

Hang: If you have the time, read back this thread from the start, I don't always spend time ranting for nothing. I've tried to answer a few Qs along those lines already.

Please confirm you position on the list peoples:

1. ROB80E - 2xDBA4545S (MX5 nsw)
2. DeeJay_RyRy - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 97 1.8 qld)
3. Astina_GianT - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 95 1.8 act)
4. 323_mazdabator - 2xDBA533S (BG 90 1.8 qld)
5. BigMal - 2xDBA216X (3000GT), 2xDBA546X (MX5 nsw)
6. Osprey06 - 2xDBA931S (BF10 87 2WD act)
7. Dogo - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 95 1.8 vic)
8. HI-RES - 2xDBA532S (BJ 1.6 qld)

And add you interset as you wish obviously.

Also to the people that are casually mentioning what they can or have paid for rotors, please specify if you wish for Andrew and myself to look rotors up for your specific car (provide details ofcourse). If you're not interseted, I don't find it particulary constructive when you do this. Andrew and I are starting a business, and have to pay tax, freight, etc... It's more than likely that if you have a personal friend at a distributor, that you can get you 2 or 4 rotors one time only at cost. We're trying however to maintain a discount rate that we can offer several times a year when the interset is there.

Gav.

Chicaboo, sorry but I have to pull out of the Brakes Deal, I took my car in for service at Slaven Motors and they busted my seat rail frame and won't admitt it or pay for it, so I'm down ~$500 plus labour charges. I'm absolutely furious, I can't believe those bastards, if you brake it OK but al least fix it.

Here you go, prices are all 10% off RRP. Postage to be advised, but will be free in Brisbane, and may be quite cheap in Sydaney, but Andrew is looking into it for the lower states/capital in any case. Obviously for those buying 4 rotors a 10% discount is pretty good, especially on the more expensive rotors like Rob and Mal are looking at.

1. ROB80E - 2xDBA4545S (MX5 nsw) - $198ea
2. DeeJay_RyRy - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 97 1.8 qld) - $117ea, $117ea
3. 323_mazdabator - 2xDBA533S (BG 90 1.8 qld) - $117ea
4. BigMal - 2xDBA216X (3000GT), 2xDBA546X (MX5 nsw) - $108ea, $144ea
5. Dogo - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 95 1.8 vic) - $117ea
6. HI-RES - 2xDBA532S (BJ 1.6 qld) - $117ea

in addition to above, 15% discount on rrp for those purchasing 4 or more rotors - why not get a set for your car?

edit : the 10% and 15% discounts are subject to 20+ rotors being purchased

So what would I be buying the rotors for then? 117 each? Shouldn't the rear rotors cost less than the front rotors also? They are elsewhere. Plus the prices or only off RRP, just about any brake place can offer that. Sorry to be a biatch but just saying how I see it.
