Exclamation jap spec 180k speedo

hi
need help would a jap spec speedo work in a australian spec cluster...if you took out the aussie speedo and replaced it with a jap spec....thanks shane

it will work, but it will have to be calibrated again!

nah, you don't need to recalibrate it.

you're only replacing the unit (not playing with needles etc), so it should just work.

BUT i reckon just swap clusters and just swap the temp/fuel gauge, as that has the Auto settings as part of it.

oh, i thought you were replacing only the speedometre unit!! if u r replacing the whole cluster, it will work!

Why did you want the jap spec 1 in the first place?Is it so you can take your car off the clock easier:P

lol..........my astina would not pull the skin of a rice pudding. it only does 170 or 180 flat out.....japanese speedo is easier to read and i dont go faster then 120 anyway so whats the point of a 240k speedo....beside if i want to go fast i use my other car for that and only on the track
