Dropping a line
Hey guys, I registered here well before getting my P's all excited about being a part of the AGT family, well I'd still love to do some of those things. I've aquired a massive distraction from my little beast of an Astina lately tho. It's become my future project and oh I love it, poor Astina isn't getting the attention it was.
1983 ZK Ford Fairlane ![]()
4 grand for the car, about 120 000kms on the engine. Flat out of money after purchasing so the rest will take a good period of time to get it all together. Basically, I'm doing the manual conversion to a 5 speed manual, I'm going to get it painted yellow! I want to get the windows tinted. But first, 19" chromies need to replace my lovely old flat ford regalia. The trim is like that of out of a limo - it's dead set the most comfortable car I've ever been in - I love it so much! 80L tank, you wouldn't realise until your putting the petrol in. Ol' Henry sure does love to drink.

Straight 6 with EFI. Must be after April '83 or it would've been a V8.
Good luck with the land-barge ![]()

So first my Astina's a door stop, now the Fairlane's a land barge ahaha. Straight 6 engine, yes it is a ZK, and it runs on unleaded... it's not a ZL, it came with the ZK steering wheel (apparently unique to that model) and it doesn't have an electronic dash. I'll be sure to yell out if I need help - If your good for it :P
Edit# I'd LOVE to put a sunroof in but the price is... sky high ![]()

Project cars are good
![]() Except when both of them are in various states of disrepair I know someone who drove 100kms on 3 wheels in one of those Fairlanes! ![]()

![]() ![]() The gas conversions really pricey, but it's neccessary, so much I want to do the hardest part isn't getting the money (although that is a task) it's choosing what to do first!

I would of thought a I6 4.1L would give more then 111kw...
Then again, it is a ford, and it was a while ago. Other then that, great project car man. I hope you enjoy. |

Doh at 2am I thought this string was all about taking drugs...
Anybody watched the movie London with Jessica Biel and Jason Statham in it. The size of the bag of cocaine and pure rock charlie at that, and they were doing line after line in the bathroom. They spilt about $1k on the floor and just didn't give a ****. No wonder the yanks have such a drug problem.... Jessica looks hot as always but other than that there is no story...

Ok BigMal... well then!
As for 111kw, that's got me a bit bummed reading that... like of course its not exactly as powerful as my Mums VSII Commodore but it still has some grunt!
