perpex scratches easier than glass.
I got it to a point where it was working , so now the urge to finish it has been replaced by laziness and other priorities |

don't use glass use poly carbonate. that **** is unbreakable. 9mm sheet of it will stop police-issue glock bullets dead, 12mm long barrel .22, 16mm .303. you will never have to worry about breaking it

it also doesn't scratch easily, thats was the other thing. basically you'd have a hard to scratch unbreakable panel there, instead of a easy to break one..
EDIT: think about how much safer you will feel with polycarbonate when bourbs is looking at the amp

In the normal place , under the amps.
The boot is designed so that the section over the spare is separate from the side pieces so that it can be lifted. along the support braces Of course, the truth is that if I did get a flat , it would be a right pain in the A to get it out on the side of the road. The strut brace doesn't come out easily - the nuts just happen to be exactly where it passes through the side wall and are difficult to access. The brace is so tight against the subbox that you have to flex it a bit to line the bolt holes up. So I also have a can of tyre weld for an emergency situation |

cheers mate. The carpet wasn't stretchy enough so its done with a bunch of small patches, carefully glued into place. Took ages but when you see it in person, its not as perfect as I would like. Maybe next time I'll flock it.
