Replacing stock HU

Hi all,

Well, I've finally got sick of having the old school SP20 disk stacker thingymabob in my dash, so I'm toying with the idea of replacing the Double-DIN standard HU with a fancier pants one.

I've had a bit of a think and I'd either like to get:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PIONEER-FH-P6...item27ae4304e3

or

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Double-Din-7-...item1c0ee56b4c

Obviously the latter is a cheaper yum-cha brand but has anyone had any experience with these?

Additionally how would I get a harness from the car audio to the new HU?

Thanks!

Lewis

The "Yum-cha" looks awesome but its gotta be too good to be true. GPS, DVD,TV... Correct me if im wrong but to buy something like that here could hardly come in under $700? Thumbs down to poor quality lol

Still, the pioneer one looks great

i have the cheaper yum cha type dvd player. i had the option to get the touchscreen with gps fr about 50 more than what i payed for (on ebay as well) but i didnt want to get a touchscreen from a noname brand. the thing is it would of been relatively fine.. i dunno how the gps would of worked tho..
the only thing with the cheaper units is that their inbuilt amp is pretty sheit so if u want good sound from a cheap hu add the price of a 4chanel amp on top of the price of the HU and dont even bother using the inbuilt amp.

i have a eanon, almost 2 years later the screen works fine, the dvd works fine, tv worked fine untill they cut of analogue tv... but yeah dont really know bout the gps or weather or not the touchscreen would work properly year or so later. for that little money its not like ur risking much. if u get 2 years from it its fine

I gotta say I'm leaning towards the yumcha brand unless anyone here has anything bad to say about it. But how do I harness from the stock HU to this things power input etc?
