I've heard more than one source say the Motul RBF600 is very good.

Well guys i got out there yesterday and today and got these rotors on the car. Front ones went on fine but we had a little trouble wih the rear lol. But in the end we worked it out and got em on there. Also put on bendix andvance pads all round.

I'm pretty happy with em so far. Can feel the bite on em more then with the old ones and they look great on the car too

Anyone else got theres on the car yet

Hey DM, I haven't sourced any pads for mine yet. But I've got heaps of things to do with the car at the moment. I just a matter of me getting to a place that sells brakes and actually remember to get brake pads... Anyhow, what was the trouble fitting the rear rotors? Maybe if you share your experience in more details it might help some other people.

Gav.

The trouble we had with the rear ones was with the hand brake. Once we got the old rotor off and the old pads out the new pads wouldn't fit as theres a little metal bit that pushes the pads for the back. We tryed for hour to work out a way to push it back it.

In the end we took pretty much the whole thing out and in the back of the calipers there a smal bolt that comes out and in there there is a little alan key hole. Turn this and the bit that was sticking out gose back it Just remeber to do it back up again or ya hand brake won't work

But once we worked that out it was easy. I did the other rear one myself. Which is the first time i've ever done somthing like that

Just wanted to throw this in if there are any other group buys as a place to check
with. I didn't want to buy the standard size rotors as planing on a brake upgrade
however funds are not available and my fronts were SO below min that the pads
were only just touching at full compress. So I bought a set of front slotted from
VPW in melbourne for $92.40 each plus $26 postage so about $105 each. Sure
that a group buy would bring things down if nothing else with the postage/freight.
Just thought I would let people know for the future.

Are they DBA or RDA? If DBA, you can do the next group buy. I think our's were $107.25, price was governed by the fact we couldn't buy direct from DBA, and had to buy from a retailer willing to drop the price...

They are DBA. My intention was only to advise of a cheap place I found, not to
take over any future group buys. I am happy to help out if one does happen.
