No High Beams

OK soooo.

Installed some new bulbs but I dont have High Beam. One of the bulbs arrived with the bulb on an angle from the socket. Fixed it by bending the bulb back or have I?

Ive redone the plug connections to see if thats the reason but nada. The lights are extremely bright which makes me think it may be defaulting to high beam?

There are replacements on the way for the broken bulb. When flicking the ligh stalk to high beam the blue light on the dash doesn't light up

Bulbs: Philips Blue Vision Ultra H4

But just wondering if theres anything else that i might be missing?

Have a close look at the filaments to see if they are broken, if not test them with a multimeter and if you dont have one of those bring your car to my place ASAP and I will test them for you, I live about 2 min from you.
Also check your fuses and the high beam relay in the main fuse box in the engine bay.

shake the bulb if you cant see due to blue tinting... itll sound...broken!

also never touch the bulb with your fingers/oil. it causes heat spots and the bulb will ultimately fail earlier.

If you put the old bulbs back in do the high beams work? That should tell you if it's the bulbs or your wiring.
