Angry [ACT] Stolen: 1989 KE Laser GL. Rego YLM-247

[ACT] Stolen: 1989 KE Laser GL. Rego YLM-247

Hey all,

my sisters car (a white 1989 KE Ford Laser GL) was stolen from the dirt carpark opposite the Kingston Hotel somewhere between 9pm and 10:30pm on the night of the 30th of July, 2005. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this car or has any other information, I would appreciate you dropping me a PM or giving me a call on 0421 059 099. The car is stock and has nothing which would make is stand out - except that it idles really high when cold.

Cheers,
James

Make: Ford Laser
Model: 1989 KE
Rego No: YLM-247
Colour: White

well the car has been found - cops think it's been used in an armed robbery :O
...of all cars to you as a getaway car, though....couldn't have picked a slower car!

is it dead?

a bloke at work had his car stolen ... these people stole two cars... used one to ram the front of a shop in, and his car to load all the goods into ... they found it torched the next day

Bugger about that. I had a mate that had his car stolen (VL commo) and had the keys to his mum's car in it. The next day his mum's car got stolen. I think it was a few days later his mum's car got spotted at a petrol station so they rang the cops. They recovered both cars, but his was a write-off Damn some people just suck...

looks like I forgot to update this thread.

--------from 02 August 2005.
Just got a call from the cops - apparently the car was used in an armed robbery
...of all cars to use as a getaway vehicle I'm not sure they could have picked a slower car
The car doesn't always like to start, either, so here's hoping they did the robbery and then couldn't start the getaway car Laughing Out Loud

PS (I don't think anyone was injured - at least I have heard anything to that effect on the news)
------------

We picked the car up from the cops yesterday.

Your sources are a bit suspect, Aaron.

While it is true that they robbed two place, they didn't leave any cash in the car - I did
