Cool Wow

Hi everyone,

My name is Taya. I'm 20 years old and I have a love for hotted up cars. I currently own a 95 Mazda Astina Hardtop (6 clyinder) and am in the process of doing it all up.

I just got an 2" sports system exhaust with a 6" tip. I wanted turbo but I was told my car wouldn't handle it . This site looks awesome for getting ideas and help. I know what I'd like to do to my car but have no idea where to start so hopefully this site will point me in the right direction

Taya

who told you that you cant turbo it?? anything can be turbod
there is a european distrubutor who sells turbo kits for the v6, but not many iv seen here in oz cus the 4cyl is a more popular engin to be turbod (BPT from familias)
you can allways get some forged rods and lower compression forged pistons and get the exhaust manifolds made up bolt a turbo on nothing is impossible, but is limited by how deep your pockets go
welcome to Astina GT (another qld member whooot)

yep Welcome. I do know of a kit that was getting around on EBay while back for the V6 2.5 DE. Guess it would fit on yours, is yours a 2.0L or 1.8L. IM manifold & Heads would be different I think from the 2.5L? That kit was the only one in Aus but it was a Chinese made Turbo so,........hmmmmmm
