sony websites dont even have one like them listed...should say somewhere what model...try typin the seriel number on sonys website dude and see if it comes up with anythin...

hi
mate bought 3 of these off a guy who came past jobsite and he wanted $1200 for 1 and he'll give 2 free... so hwe got 3 for $1200.... and after finding out the real price... feels ripped off now these arent a Sony product.. theyre just been labeled as sony to make sales as i found them on the net and got the model number and they only go for like $180 US.. the ones we got here are a tiny bit different to the one u have.. same specs just slightly different bits on the back.. our manual doesnt say sony on it but its exactly the same manual as the one u posted.. the model number is DV-C340 here is some links this one is exactly the same camera as the ones we got here.. except the remote doesnt say sony... and it comes in a different box http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....arch%26fvi%3D1 http://superpowerglobal.en.alibaba.c..._DV_C340_.html http://www.allproducts.com/manufactu...623182941.html http://www.siampop.com/product_info....roducts_id=228 and if u look in google you'll find loads of other places selling these theyre a good camera... but not original sony brand.. I also find it interesting they call a camera with a 3.2 megapixel CMOS sensor a 10 megapixel camera. Seems a bit dumb to me, same as advertising digital zoom as a zooming capability and adding some fine print stating that that is using digital zoom.
If someone wants to stuff up their footage let them do it after they've filmed it, not put it on the camera as an irreversable function.
