EOI [QLD] dynamat extreme bulk
Hey come to annoy you with another eoi. Looking at options for sound proofing. I have to buy a lot before it becomes worth shipping. Packs come in 72^2 feet. Cheaper than buying many small packs and easier as the squares are 1200x600 approx. Looking at ordering in the next two weeks. Please make my life easier also importing the heat resistant stuff for the engine bay firewall. If you're keen let me know too. Pricing is still uncertain but for a pack shipped will be around $400 or so.

Can the heat resistant stuff for the firewall, also be used to line a bonnet?
Might be interested in the sound deadening too but will see what happens.

Short notice guys, as I need this ASAP to put this car back together before I lose the instructions! Currently looking at importing 4 boxes worth and reselling it here online, to make it cheaper. So if anyone else is keen for some in the next month let me know. Deposits always welcome once arrived with costs.

Hindsight is always better... Buying this off 12volt on eBay.com so whatever those prices are. He said he can get any product if not in stock with a $50 fee to cover the hour drive to get it from the warehouse. I'm still waiting on a shipping quote... Sigh. How much did you want (sq ft or sq m) I may get a pack of that, 2 packs of dynamat and a pack of hoodliner.

One pack looks like it won't quite be enough for a hood, so perhaps you might want to share a extra pack between us? Packs are about 0.8m by 1.3m.
Cost looks expensive

OK, some better prices.
Cost of dynamat xtreme from aus off ebay without shipping: $200 for 36ft = $400 for a mega pack equiv. Ideal as you can buy more or less what you want cheaply. (also for resale have to match/beat that price. buying from USA off ebay, is close enough to $300AUD for mega pack. so $100 cheaper. shipping is $290ish. so 4x mega to make the weight = 1200+ $300 post = $1500 = tax of 150. so $1650 if done legit. so $1650/4 = $412. = more expensive than locally (without factoring in shipping costs), while buying more than I want/need. however other dyna product prices are cheaper OS. Ideas? also we are garenteed fresh stock from US, not sure how old this other guys from AUS is, or how much shipping is for 3x36ft2. will ask.

ok guys, Ive been doing some hunting and prowling for locally made products suitable for one of three things.
Rattles, vibrations etc. Sound insulation (i.e. quieter car) or Heat insulation. - the second two sort of help each other out. local searching has still failed to deliver anything of worth. but heres a decent product for not much $$$. http://www.lobucrod.com/index.html it works out to be $10/m2. shipped. to do two complete cars id buy: bulk pack of dynamat, $220, above $225, and a roll of MLV which is $200 for 5m2 off ebay...even more expensive at clark rubber!
