Will this muffler fit my Lantis??

I've been told that the BA Lantis/Astina/323F are hard to get exhausts for because the rear wheels are really far back.

I want to get a cannon-style muffler for my car but I'm not sure if it will fit. Its 28cm long and I'd have it coming out on the opposite side as standard so there aren't any unnecessary bends.

Has anyone got one of these and what kind do they have? I.e. dimensions of it...

This is the one I'm looking at getting

I'm pretty sure Theo has a similar style muffler, although it could be a bit stubbier [shorter] to make it fit.. From memory he swapped the side from passenger to driver side too..

You might find that you have to have it sticking out at an angle like some past members have done [EZZY and Pete notably].. I'll go through the pics I have to show you what I mean and post some later.. [gotta go back to work..]

It will fit but its very tight. You will also want to have a number of resonators/dampners as the cannons are very loud in the cabin.

It will fit easy across the back of the car but will prob look a bit average.

Yeah i have done it,but mine was stubbier, not sure on the dimensions atm,ill have to measure it for ya,like jynx said i had to get 2 extra resonators to try and quieten it down and its still hell loud
I also had to get a special join made up at the back cause of how tight a fit it was aswell :!:

Good luck

My car already has a resonator in place of the cat and another one half way down the exhaust so hopefully it wont be too loud.

Hmm.... some of the melbourne boys know what my car sounds like, I've got 2 resonators in mine and a subtle sports muffler.. not a cannon and it's moderately loud. Not too over bearing though.. comfortable.

Nah Theo's is really bad with Drone. I couldn't handle more than say
30 mins in his car before my head would be pounding. Detracts from
the stereo sound as well I would go one
