the BAS pump will be more that capable. They can handle the turbo BPT engine with no problems - so n/a will be fine.
When you get too much volume you may reach the limit of the ECU's fuel maps. As long as you listen out for pinging at high speeds you should be ok. Get a K&N panel air filter too, it will flow better than the standard one. |

When the piping is so close to the front and you're at speed then the colour probably ain't so important, more that it just stands out so much hence the black (cools down faster anyway). Otherwise you'd want to wrap it with aluminium foil tube all the way through.

No i definatelly wouldn't go about it that way. To be really different, turn the air filter box upsided down and cut out a significant hole out of the bottom. To make this worth while install a bonnet school just above the air box. Excellent cold air intake. Too much messing around.
I have max respect when i see a bonnet scoop above where the air intake isor the intercooler (eg WRX). In other words I like a scoop that serves a purppose. No respect however for a bonnet scoop installed for looks only.

nope....there is enough space about (1cm) and I checked the temp while driving & idling and doesn't get hot.

should be careful with CAI. if water gets into the engine, you'll bend the rods and there goes an engine.

what size fog lights would i need for astina 323 hardtop???
supercheap auto have them? and would i need to install a seperate switch or just connect it up with the parking lights or full head lights? |

read a few more threads in here this has been covered many many times already. basically u need to plug the lights in to the existing wires that are there. then you need a fuse for the fuse box, a relay for the passangers footwell and a switch for the dashboard. this way it will work as it was designed to by mazda any light can be used as long as the wire conection is addapted switch is bout 80 from mazda relay i have no idea mayb get one from wreckers or keep buying relays from supercheap untill one fits right in haha

the once I got are the once they put on VE commodores. They are 90mm in diameter and Valeo brand. They do driving lights for most European cars hence a better design IMO. The reflectors are very well designed and the beam spread is very good (adjustable to get wide or narrow beam). I dont think the supercheap ones will give you good visibility (if you only want the looks then its ok) and I stayed away from them. Narva also have some good designs and heaps better than supercheap brand. I had to use small diameter ones to allow room for my CAI outlet. Otherwise you can use 100mm ones too.

i have some supercheap ones. they work perfectly fine. with the 100W bulbs they're bright little suckers

so the super cheap ones (i saw some ones for $60 that were round and 100mm dia - these the right ones?) have the same clips as the genuine wiring? ive already got the wiring installed, just need the actual lights/sockets.

different wiring from the lights, you'll have to either pull the stock plug apart and rig it up that way or cut it off and use a new plug.
Mine are 90mm ones, don't think a 100mm one would fit maybe, but it'd be close and you'd cut off the airflow around it
