2006/7 andra sport compact championship

well there's good news so far. there will be atleast 5 rounds in the championship.

wsid released their calender of events and this is what they have

18 november - drag warz
10 march - drag warz
19 may - compak attak.

jamboree (23 and 24 september) and mini-jam will be in the mix there too.

bring it on!

hopefully willowbank pick up an extra round too, and then isnt adelaide looking at having one also?

yes petie! move it, move it!

new regulations should be coming out any day now (should have been out the day after compak attak), so we'll work it all out then. chances are there will be time brackets. ie sport fwd is 13+ seconds, front runner is under 13 seconds. front runner doesnt have a big field yet it's supposed to be the top fwd class. i suggested something like that in the development forum we had a while ago at south brisbane, but amazingly got shot down...yet it looks like this will happen. it's stupid (and possibly dangerous) when there's a car like mine doing high 14's vs a car like dave homer's doing high 11's. 3 seconds different off the start. yes it's good racing, but the speed difference at the end is quite a bit and could be problematic. add to that, homer won front runner at compak attack with a mid 15 second car. that's not good for the front runner class....

And I gotta hope it doesnt fit in sport front.. gunna be hard enough for me competing againt andrew and dave... if petie ends up running, I wont see a podium finish all year :P

im actually pissed as theres not more events in QLD, theres only jambo and mini-me. the street series sucks serious ass , there needs to be a QLD drag wars to keep the momentum going thru the year

Australia's premier strip, and its being used by sport compact twice...while we are forced to travel to sydney ever other weekend or some such.
