why waste time on labour paying the dealer to fix the car for something so simple?
get new coils, new plugs, new leads and move on!
That is what i'm going to do i would say bud

Your mechanic sounds like he has NFI what he is doing.
Has he checked the cam and crank sensors , he should of checked for codes first . Sounds like he has ripped you by not fixing it yet after 4 days if he was a good tech he would have fixed it . As I said to tell what is wrong with a car drive it and of you are any good you should know what is wrong with it

This MAY help you, it was having a similar problem, although it didn't vibrate.. PLEASE get your mechanic to check out the o2 plug earth... it was such a simple fix that was missed. I would of saved around $800 if they were to check this first.

If you were in Brisbane I would loan you a coil pack to test it as I have four coil packs spare here just in case.
I also found the earth connector on the side of the engine had come loose and tightening it made my car run a lot better so grab your socket set or a spanner and check its tight.
