Yup, you read it. Awesome little cars they are, very rare to see on Australian Soil. Has the same running gear as the Mazda Familia BG GTX [two door].

Wish they brought out a 4WD BG Astina SP

it's a gtx, punches out 135kw like other gtx's, but weights about 120kg more if my memory is correct

my panel shop guy owns 1, plus there are heaps in new zealand also... thats where all the gtx's live nowadays.

have they got the same wheel base as a familia or an astina bg, if the same as a bg astina could be handy for a awd astina

It looks like a nice little car, a bit pricey but if those kays are genuine its a bargain, i dont think a bg owner could do an awd gtx conversion if they were working to a close budget because there is alot of engineering work to be done.

They're legit. They also made a BF sedan with 4wd and B6T....and BF Mazda and KE Laser 4wd wagons (although I'm not sure they were ever factory turbo'd). There are more 4wds in Japan (getting snow and all it comes in handy) - eg 4wd BJ hatch (and sedan??)

There is a 4wd Turbo BG sedan at Adelaide Jap - has been for sale for ages. Complianced and everything. It's about half way down this page. I only just noticed it has a different front bar on it (different colour wise) - perhaps and accident victim??

I had one of those 4 door GTX's in GT2, cool little car, good if you had a bit of a family and still wanted a quick car.

Lancia Deltas have more rust than Alfas. It's a standard factory feature.

A rare car in Austarlia that sure is, but that guy's talking ****! Smokes WRX/EVO's and runs a 13.5sec quarter my ass!
That thing looks completely stock and he admits it's on the stock (read small) turbo. My car did a 15.2 on a GTech and that car would be heavier (sedan + 4wd) and have more drivetrain losses. To put it into perspective, I have a mate with a 4wd turbo B6T and he can only keep up with me if he winds the boost to 14psi...
