+1 black will make stickerbombing it easier too, won't have to worry about little gaps standing out

im not that keen on sticker bombing it
i think just black would look better than that
or it might be the bright green wheels putting me off......

Wind some wire round a pencil , and it'll give it a bit of slack like a spring

The wire should connect to a ring that is fixed to the back of the steering wheel. That ring rubs against a contact on the column. So the wire shouldn't move in relation to the wheel.

Unusual request as I originally wanted a nice quiet car, but how can I make the sound of my exhaust louder? It's fairly loud as is but makes such a nice sound (for a Mazda Engine) wouldn't mind hearing it more.
Maybe a bolt on part? Want to keep the current muffler.

yeah that came to mind, until I saw how much I was looking at to get one installed Extractors will make it louder? Do they make engine noise a lot louder too though?

extractors wont do much for noise, as they have no baffling in them that suppresses noise unlike cat convertors or mufflers.
