did you work out how to do it yet? you have to pull the cluster apart get the gauges faces off and sand the orange film off the back the put it all back together i tried awhile ago and broke the needle for the temp gauge and had to buy a new cluster trent did his sucsessfuly ill msg him to jump on the forrum and send u a like there was a right up on it

excellent thanks... i havent done it yet im too scared of breaking something, i was hoping i just just peel it off or something but sanding it doesnt sound like a good idea!

just don't drop them and you fill be fine.
when you are sanding them, make sure that the gauge face is flat on a table or something. and be sure to put a cloth in between the face of gauge and the table so you don't scratch it up.

If you have a dremmel, probably best to use the larger sized narrow buffing wheel with a tiny but of cutting compound. Its puts hardly any stress on the face, is quick and very accurate.
but you have to make sure you don't stay in the same place for too long otherwise you will melt it

I would SO destroy that. Too fiddley for me and i'll get very impatient with it haha. Let us know how you go if you could maybe take some "Good" pictures along the way (Those ones in the link were very dark) and upload a how to thread in here?

You clumsy clumsy people!!
They aren't that easy to brake... Just don't bend them much.

depending on how bored i get... how much money I want to waste and if I could be bothered to get some gauge rings made up, or buy some gauge rings.
then i will probably do a detailed write up....

hmmmm... some brushed brass gauge rings would look wicked with the red in the cluster

But I wouldn't hold on to the edge of your seats for it!
