Signature work
Hey guys, thought i'd share with you guys what i'm doing at the moment. I've just been fiddling with Photoshop and creating signatures/banner images.
I've got 2 here that I've quickly done up but would like to try and spend more time on when i'm not at Uni or work. If you think your one needs some doing, all i'll need is a good resolution image of your car and some ideas/colours. wheeler33

It's fine work, but forum sigs seem pointless and annoying to me. If I want to know what car/mods you have, i'll check reader rides. I don't need a billboard telling me how sick your ride is. And as someone who frequently browses the web on a 1024x768 resolution, having my screen area taken up by useless and often repeated pics makes it harder to read the thread. We are AstinaGT, not BoostCruising or StreetCommodores.

Haha yeah i think thus why the forum size rules! Totally understand, its always just a good way to personalize your post and stuff. I'm just practicing and playing around with Photoshop so i thought this would be something cool to work on.

Another forum has a setting that will only display a user's signature once on any thread page. This keeps the page shorter and helps it load faster.
Dan, is this available on the latest version of the AGT site?

I think the 500x150 rule we have is fine, the sigs on mazdas247 get annoying as some can be 750x500, but they have it that if you write another post on the same page of the thread, its automatically hidden.. Could we look into something like that?
Edit: Ninja'd by darryl!

But nah, the current version of the board doesn't seem to have the 'once' option. Next version will though.

Ah I use to love messing with PS. Sigs on here are good as they are. Nice and small.

I used to dabble in this back on the gaming forums (halo 1)
They look good mate well done. The "popout" sig (image extends beyond background) was a revolutionary thing back then. And then the animated sigs rolled in. That's when page loads became an issue
