EOI: Mod Day

Hi ladies,

There has been plenty of talk about the 2012 mod day. At the moment this is just a EOI. Lets throw out some dates and what you have planned.

As for location, my parents have a rental property which will be vacant and i plan to move my prelude over there to do body work. They have said having a mod day will be ok providing we don't destroy the place. HOWEVER this option is not available until late October. HOWEVER AGAIN! This place is on the Sunshine Coast near Woombye/Nambour. Nambour does have all the major car shops which is only about 5 minutes away. The place has a double garage and can easily fit 4 or 5 cars on the driveway with most of it being flat. There is also a pool if your keen to swim.

If this does not suit everyone, please let us know if you want to donate you driveway. Cookie said he might be able to let us come to his shed?

Throw some dates and locations out. Lets get this happening!

Interested if I have a car.

Might not have engine in by then so will prolly just try do one of the following install HU, intake, springs, sway bar, header.

EDIT: Forgot to mention LCA brace, Oil Filter Relocation Kit.

I just need to get my act together and remove the other shell, even then there's only room for like 4 cars in the front. If the owner was away we could fit like 10 round the side and back but it would probably be too noisy if she was home...I woke her up last Sunday haha.

My place at wellington point is available anytime, i can get my parentals to move their cars out onto the street, and we can use the two garage spots for cars, and one or two cars just inside my compound gate, and heaps more cars can fit on the street, it would just be a process of moving cars in and out as they are completed. (Obviously the longer jobs will be performed in the garage.
My old man also has 2 or 3 sets of tools etc we can all use. Plus we have adequate lighting when it gets dark.

Other than that, I'm gold for pretty much any weekend. I would like to finally get my HU sorted out, and my intake.

I'm also willing to travel to any place

Id offer my parents place in Sept as they are going to fraiser, its 4 houses from the beach and has big tv n speakers.

But the driveway is on a small rise so its no good

Now that im home you can have a mod day at my place any time as well.
Not that my car needs much doing to it ATM as its running pretty sweetly, its running even better after 4 tanks of 100 octane fuel and a damned good thrashing in the last week.
TBH I think the flat spot may be gone!

only 100RON Fuel I know of is from United Fuel Stations, which is ethanol blended.. Ran 2 tanks of it and saw no benefit over 98 from BP...

Have Added Phils place to the poll, and added your vote to your 'rents place Ben

I should add I'll have the racing seat hooked up to the PS2 & Xbox360 in the study if people wanna have a go on that while not moddin'. Just a suggestion

Cannot see why this cannot be a monthly thing if peeps are desperate to hold a day at their place. Much better than a Thursday night meet up.

Try running 4 tanks through your car and flog the @$%$ out of it. My car is possessed ATM.

I'm going to have a mod day this Sunday and fix my 3 petrol powered evil toys.
2 skateboards and 1 mad looking scooter.
Then I am going to the local park with my attack kite....

also i agree with phill there isnt any flat spot now.. i gave it a good thrashing thru mt lindsay highway twisties and MAN OW MAN did it perform

also phill im going to ryans to do some guard rolling on sunday so no scootas for me.
