Sorry guys n gals.....
I have been away in Sydney in hospital having tests n crappola...... I just haven't been thinking of all this stuff I'll admit it. Our plans to date are: Saturday 3rd April - Drive from Canberra to Coffs Harbour - o'nite in Coffs Sunday 4th April - Drive from Coffs Harbour to SEAWORLD NARA RESORT!! *bloody excited about this bit* We will have unlimited entry into Seaworld but it closes at 5pm, so how about a get together on Sunday? We can do a lappie of the Indy circuit, get a bite to eat somewhere or something...... What do you guys suggest? I figure Sunday is going to be better for everyone rather than Tuesday when people usually work...... We are fairly flexible at this stage. The XR6Turbo will probably be pretty dirty from the long distance driving, so a trip through a brushless car wash like Carlovers would be nice too. I'm sure everyone knows where Seaworld is, so it will be a good meeting point to start with. what time to you expect to be at seaworld? depending on what time the future mum-in-law wants to be dropped at the bus depot to go home will decide whether i'll come down for the day or just the night...but at the moment it looks like just the night. either way i'll come down for the night.
how many are making the trip from mexico? |

No Victorian will be harmed during the Mega Crooz......
because no Victorian will be coming to QLD...... we have 2 Canberran AGT members coming as far north as Byron Bay for the Blues Festival, and we will be dropping through to see them on the 8th of April (the Thursday before Good Friday) no Sydney members have volunteered for the cruise, and Mr Shadow will travel with us from the Central Coast to Newcastle, maybe Coffs depending on the day/finances/car etc.... we are hoping to see the sp23 in the flesh for this *grins* so we are counting on you QLD members to get a good gathering together to welcome the Kitty and Aaron to friendly QLD, coz it looks like it could only be us. BUT, that said, it doesn't mean we can't have fun, take pictures and show all the others what they are missing out on.... call em a bunch of pussies and run amok! Whaddya say?

we don't have actual eta..... we figure it is about 3 hours or so from coffs harbour to seaworld... and depending on what time we leave in the morning, lets say 10am at the latest (I am disorganised people!) that means eta at Nara at 1pm ish? We check in, jump on the monorail and stare at dolphins and polar bears n stuff, so say 2pm ish we are at Seaworld? They close at 5pm but we have unlimited entry so is all good. We have a special behind the scenes tour starting at 6.30am the next morning..... gimme coffee, lots of coffee!!!
did any of that make sense? if you guys want to come into Seaworld and do a day with us, we can leave earlier or something.... just let us know! |

you think 3 hours from coffs??? how many points do you want left on your licence .Trust me kitty set the crooz control to 100km/h and allow 4 hours. its not worth speeding there are kodak cash registers and police with hair driers everywhere. They love the end of overtaking lanes to :wink:
