Hehe, that was a fantastic day. Great to meet the newer members of AstinaGT. Think things all went pretty smoothly, wasn't much waiting around between the two meet points, the cruise route was good, the wedges were nice (mmm, I think almost everyone will agree on that, considering nearly EVERYONE had them hehe

). Better then standing outside in the cold for a BBQ I thought (hehe, GO PGA!!). Reeled off some good photos while the cars were in motion aswell, so they'll all be up later on.

Fark tho, my back and legs are sooo sore after the karts, and my left elbow is black - bruised up big time! Was great fun at the karts tho, lots of spirited racing on the track, some dubious passing maneuvers and shunts around the track, but all in all, very fair, fun racing by all.

Hope to see you all again at the next one

Thanks to all that came.. it was great to meet the newer faces [Pato's Astina & Soul_323], thanks lads.. Hopefully we'll see you on more cruises when they come around!

I'm happy to report that no-one did anything stupid on the roads and that no incidents occurred. This has been one of the better cruises that i've been on in a while.

Go karting was a blast! Dan has the final results sheet which i assume that he'll post up. The manager [Wayne] at the Karting place was a funny bastard. At the end of the race the results were announced. Apparently i got the fastest lap time, followed by Solo however he didn't have the sheet with him to let us know exactly how fast we were.

I'll be uploading the images to the gallery very shortly..

I think it was a great day, I had a blast. Pulled up a little sore from the karting but thoroughly enjoyed it. And yeah, Wayne was a funny bastard, I don't think he could have taken the p*ss out on me any more though heh. And I must say that I'm very pleased that my car made it home in one piece this time!
