It looks good but weren't you going standalone? You should have an wideband input on that for logging and you'll find most of these features on a standalone. It's not a boost controller but it could save you if you're running way too lean. I'd put it in the nice to have basket, its not necessary but it can't hurt. Just remember you'll need a boost controller either way

thanks guys. I just need to get off my "busy with life" bum and get to it! recieved the dynamat today. I will try and burn it too, but I haven't heard of anyone having issues with it. IT IS HEAVY...I'm glad I didn't have to walk home with 150ft of it.

Ok guys I just had a sudden complete brake failure in my bg Atsina...
Called mechanic he reckons it sounds like the master cylinder.. Fluids are full but have had to top them up every 6 weeks or so... Any ideas?

burst brake hose, bad master cylinder, failed brake booster, seized calipers, worn pads, etc

Chances of all 4 calipers seizing at once? Possible... But unlikely worn pads definitely not only changed less than 6 months ago don't drive it enough and had only checked th 2 weeks ago when this happened for the first time.. If I had the money I'd just take it to the mechanic but that's not an option at the moment :/

should have a look where the foot pedal is. if there is fluid everywhere the master is gone. and check under the master cylinder to see if any paint is peeling.. master is gone... clamp all 4 brake hoses, press and hold foot on brake pedal. if it sinks after 10 seconds.. master is gone :P
if fluid is black (unlikely) then that'll cause crap brakes too

yeah nothing wrong with a e6X. it's older tech but it will do all the jobs you want it to do.

Im going to NSW next week for a week and my car has a CAI with a pod filter which is securely mounted out side the engine bay inside the front guard and is not easily visible.
I know pod filters are frowned upon in NSW so was wondering as my car is registered and legal in QLD with it on I shouldn't get hassled by NSW popo for having it on as it does get a very throaty if I put my boot into it. |

Shouldn't man. My understanding was that cars registered in QLD must obey QLD rules.
