Nice height.
Can you take some photos of the rear tops where the adjustment is made? |

converted all doors to power window and drivers side power mirror, was simply just stripping out the door wiring and regulators and swapping them over.
the trims however had a different pattern so i unscrewed and swapped over the lower halves the used the fabric from the laser trim as a template to cut in the rear window switch holes leaving a stock finish.

finished off "ghetto" cai, relocated radiator expansion tank and modified radiator brackets, it uses a vn-vr commodore v6 intake pipe, part of the "bong" off the original intake and the stock airbox modified.

I was getting sick of not being able to play mp3 or i-pod with the factory stereo so after some research and a parts order the problem is now solved.
the unit plugs into the cd changer port on the rear of the stock head deck then i just made it fit into the void for the factory cassette player and bonded it to the blanking plate with 2-part glue designed for acrylic bench tops (will break before un-gluing) then secured the body of unit to stereo with a packer and cable tie through the metal frame.

Sorry to be a kill joy...But why? You can pick up a stereo with Bluetooth, iPod and USB for all of $99 these days that romps ass on the stock one.
I like the effort you put into it though. Thumbs up for doing something technical! |

I really wasn't a fan of the stock HU... But I can definitely see why this mod was done.

Yeah i understand that it might be the case.
I wasn't much for the stock stereo either. I like my music too much for it. I could probably live with a stock stereo that had all the features though. |

Which reminds me.... I have to do this to my Girlfriends swift!
What brand Kit did you get mate? And how is the unit with functionality? Some of the units do stupid things and aren't logical... Others are good. Nice tidy install too

I like the stock unit so easy to use and with better speakers the volume doesn't go over 2/3rds, the function of the unit is just like using a stacker or single disc depends on how the music is stored. each folder represents as a cd, you just press the cd button to switch to cd stacker mode. the unit is this one. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230781191...84.m1439.l2649
In case nobody noticed the theme for the car is stock but not.
