removing the front airvent covers from my front bumper

i am having a lot of trouble trying to remove the two vents on the front of my bumper, the covers seem to be only held in with a few screws but i cant seem to be able to reach them or do anything. is the only option to remove the whole bumper?
does anyone have any diagrams on how to take the bumper off?
and one other idea i had was to remove the bar in the centre of the middle airdam. has anyone done this before?
thanks.

hey mate i just took off my front bumper on my BG to put a cold air pipe through.....hope you have a BG....what you do is take out the two parker lights and disconect the lights......this will reveal 4 14mm bolts (2 either side) take thes out.....next there are 2 14mm bolts on the front of the bumper ( one either side in the little side boxes) next there is a screw in the wheel arch up the top...a screw down the bottom and a 8mm bolt...take these off on eith side and the bumper should come off...from then you sould be able to get to the vent.....sori but i didnt take pics.....hope it helps...

John: The KQ is a BJ, so nothing like yours (BG).

Mate, if you have a search, I did a how-to on removing the front bumper. It's not as scary as it sounds, it's quite easy to do in real life. Anyhow, have a look around, as I'm not typing it all out again, it takes too long...
