I spent the weekend sorting thought new parts from the container, and then today just sorting out the garage into a bit more of an organised mess than it.
I'm not up from being able to fir half a Beetle in there to being able to fit 3/4 of a Beetle (while still adding 1/4 of a Beetle worth of parts in there).

i didnt see your wheels in the "FREE" section so i drove further than your place to pay for these ones :P. i spoke to his dad. he's an apprentice diesel mechanic. i gotta admit he is dedicated. starts work at 7am.... at Wacol!.. or was that Richlands (where i live). if you are wondering "why didnt you just get him to drop it off at your house?". well i did think about it. and i dont wake up at 6:30am every day... i wake up at 9am so 6am is too early for me

I just sorted out my uni bag. I had high school stuff still in there, a 2009 diary and about 15 lead pencils. No joke, 15. Chewing gum that has melted onto a tiny note pad down the bottom and a random lego man. Many receipts and pieces of papers of course.
Just threw it in the washing machine (everything out of it of course) still smells like chewing gum and has a mysterious red stain. I think its time for it to retire. Nearly made it through the whole of uni..Just a year short, Got it in grade 10 halfway through the year |

Last night I rain-exed the crap outa my front windscreen and realised that I have lots of tiny minute stone chips in the windscreen. It's like there may have been a coating on the front of the window or something that just comes off when minute particles hit it. Very strange. Anyway, also tightened the buggery out of my outer multi v belt that drives A/C and P/S but to no avail, still got slight start up squeel this morning! More tightening on the way! I fricken hate belt squeel! It's like check out my awesome ride then as you start it up it sounds like a bucket of bolts.

Grab some dry silicon lube and rub the inside of the belts with it. Has worked for me a few times after the belts were as tight as I could get them.

You can use the silicon spray to an extent, other option is to put a new belt on

Gunna tighten it more tonight! Still got about 4mm play/wiggle. Going to go till about 2mm. Belt is new and has stretched a bit so now the cold mornings and moisture is causing the problems. I may loosen and flip the belt as it'll be pretty glazed by now! Reckon my alternator might be drawing a bit too much load too. Replace that in a few thousand kms may sort the issue but still charging fine so don't want to have to do that just yet.

Just tighten it a bit more and see how you go. Otherwise its warming up now so it'll calm down.
