HAHA!!  Good one Trav! Even better one though Bro!

I'm making "enquiries" at the moment. How's this for rich, the dude at Bob Jane here in the Rat wanted to charge me $740 for K-Mac springs [incl fitting!], but only $350 for King Springs.

Then! He was telling me that K-Mac are harder sprung than Kings [I had heard the opposite]. Plus! He also wanted to charge me $2040 for ROH Fury [Shadow Chrome] and EagleF1 tyres....... Wholly crap! I polietly declined the offer and hung up....

I can get the K-Macs for $330 direct from them, and unless anyone here has a spring compressor it's gonna cost me $150 to put them in. I take it that you do actually need a compressor to put them in.....I cast my mind back to those Jumbo springs that I bought last year and the guy just placing them in there...... . Nasty.

I spent my first 17 years 'in the rat'. I learnt it is cheaper to ring around Melbourne, catch the train down to buy and finger the retailer who tried to rip me off because of thier small town syndrome.
No, I'm not bitter and twisted realy

I have some spring compessors and while I'm there I can do the family visit thing
