Think about RDA slotted rotors, they are much the same (as they apparently come from the same production line), and are much cheaper.

Give it a Google and make a few calls.

gav has found out they are not the same. rda's are made in china and do not use the kangaroo paw vane design like the dba's (made in oz)

Check out www.discpads.com.au then click on get parts to do a search for your price. I think it'll work out roughly the same though when you add on freight.

I got the DBA golds, but when I go bigger I'll be going to just the slotteds...that way I can give em a harder time. I've been recommended the DBA slotteds a few times from guys on the track and in rally.

I have DBA slotted on my BG Sedan with Bendix pads, and they grip like crazy (mind you, my old brakes were pretty shagged, so probably not the best person to draw a comparison). But, I am stoked with them, and the combo I have is so nice, especially after you've given them time to warm up.

yeah the guy i was tlaking to about the slotted DBA's suggested Bendix advance brake pad with them and that should do me without ahving to upgrade the calipers....considering my engine is stock i think he might be right

I can resell the DBAs for less than $120ea before shipping, it depends on interest as to what discount I can offer.
To give you an idea, my discount is as follows: 1-5 discs 10%, 5-10 discs 15%, 10+ discs 20%.
So even if 5 people buy 2 discs each, eg: I can take 15% off and charge a small handling fee and shipping to those outside of QLD or NSW...
I've only been making contacts for this for the last 2 weeks, so it's all very new, and to be honest I was waitig until Andrew's big brake upgrade had been redsigned in CAD for manufacturing at a reduced cost. But if the interst in standard slotted or drilled rotors is sufficient, I can definately get the ball rolling.

Let me know if you guys want me to get an EOI or GB going on this please.
Gav.

I should add that RDA have ignored my business enquiries, and add to that the info I've unearthed about their quality, I wouldn't resell their brakes anyway.
So please understand that I can obtain any DBA rotors you require at the reduced rates vs quantities mentioned above. But I will only be offering DBA rotors.

Cheers,
Gav.
