Hi,
The starter motor in my 2001 mazda sp20 has gone, just wondering how much a mechanic would charge to supply and fit the part ? i live in queensland australia if that helps. Any help would be great, thanks |

I think I may have 2 spare starter motors. I will look in the shed in the morning to see if they are still there.
BTW is your car an manual or auto as I think they may differ. |

in my experience their labour is the killer, anywhere from $55 per hour. if you're handy with tools then it wouldn't be hard to do yourself even if you purchase a repair manual to read up first.
