thanks guys for the warm welcome. ill take all this on board, good to see some other sr2s on here! I want the car to handle well so im still tossing up between coilovers and springs as i have new shocks already in the car.. also i still want comfort not a break back drive, and i dont want to fork out an arm and a leg, so i thought you guys would be the ones to consult. Also i wanted to look at some early rx8 wheels but i have heard that they hit the back struts without spacers, is this true? i want to keep a original stock look but nothing too crazy, maybe mazda 6 17s instead, im open to opinions?? i should have more pics up soon!
cheers
matt

Hey Patrick yea its going great just been really busy and haven't had time to update and everyone, how about yours? Today coincidentally i tracked down a set of 17 inch Mazda 6 luxury sport wheels and put them on! look very similar to the stock ones which i am keeping. Wasn't gonna buy them but got a good offer that was too hard to refuse haha. Will be putting up pics soon. Good to see another SR2 on here and in Vic! There should be more meet ups for us guys in Vic!

Are there any aftermarket grilles for the SR2? Wondering how it would look debadged + black the chrome.

Looking good though!

Yea no aftermarket grills for the laser. My brother had coilovers in his old liberty, made it unreal in the corners so flat, but was a real harsh ride, my mate put the eibach prokit springs with new shocks in his sri astra and it made it handle really well as well as making it sit just right, i liked both but preferred the comfort for a daily ride, im open for opinions what do you guys recommend?

Sounds like you've already got your answer.

Depends what weighting you give the categories will depend on what you end up doing.
