Antenna Not Working ? Motor As Well ?

Okay.

First off this is not a Mazda car but im guessing problem could happen to most cars.

Anyways
When i purchased the car about 5yrs ago my antenna doesn't go up or down and can't hear the motor working at all.
So it didn't bother for these years because reception was good but i thought i might as well fix it to make it functional.

So i brought a whole antenna assembly a while back and replaced it all and still nothing no noise from motor, i actually had 2 spares assembly so i tested the other one and still nothing.

So i thought i'd check the fuse (if there is one) and only one that says "radio" in the fuse box area but tested it and all good.

What could it be ? Could it be wiring issue ?

Because i have the same project car and also nothing as well, no noise. I was thinking wiring issue but surely 2 cars having the same problem doesn't sound right so makes me think maybe its something simple that i can't figure out ?

Here are the 2 fuse boxes diagram translated in this thread :

Unless its another fuse ? but i did check all fuses and all tested good.

PS: Sorry if this might confuse you because its not a Mazda but if i get no reply i understand haha

Sounds like you have an aftermarket head unit.
Does the HU have an antenna control wire?
Is it connected?

Yes both have aftermarket headunits (i had a feeling it could maybe be related to that but both are installed correctly i think and look right)

Control wire ? Do you mean the antenna cable that plugs into the headunit, yes both have and are plugged into the unit and i double checked the antenna assembly and are connected in as well.

There is a co-axial cable with a round plug that carries a signal from the antenna to the headunit. The signal is then decoded into crisp stereo sound. No that's not the wire I'm talking about. On my Alpine it's a blue wire (and I have no idea about your headunit) that signals the antenna to go up and down.
Find your headunit manual on the net and check the wiring guide at the back.
