Painting the boot lid...
I have been reading all the threads about installing the lexus lights or altessa lights into the rear of the BA's.
Then several helpful people put all of their opinions and stuff in and the process looks phenominally easy. But what i want to know is how do you paint the red reflector panel on the boot lid. Do you paint ovr the clear plastic or do you remove the whole kit and kaboodle or can you remove it from the vehicle AND remove the clear layer to replace it afterwards. Any pics of the process or a stepthrough what be ****in schmicko aye. |

Im pretty sure they just get removed off the car, debadged, sanded, plastic primed, painted with 2pak paint and badged again[according to taste]

take it off your car and then down to your local smash repairer and ask them to paint it for you but tell them not to paint the black on the bottom and top..that easy
