TPS Adjusting

Ok awhile ago I couldn't get the idle speed to come down further than 1000 because the throttle position stopper thing was down too far, so I screwed it out a little and reset the idle screw, and then there was some problems such as a weird rev limit. I adjusted the TPS until the rev limit problem disappeared its been fine since then but it never felt right, it has a slight miss when down in the revs adjusting the TPS changes where the miss Is but wont remove it. Also would the fact that oil is leaking out of the PCV be a problem (possible stupid question lol)
