WTB: (QLD) A few things off an FS-DE plus bits and pieces

Hey guys,
Looking to buy an FS-ZE intake manifold, EGR and Fuel rail. Also, if anyone has lightweight pulleys, AEM CAI, there's a couple of more items too, but it's 2:20 in the morning and I'm a little tired haha
Will pay for shipping of course

EDIT: Cams as well

Hey sam your header doesnt have EGR and your ECU doesnt do EGR. So its pointless buying it

In regards to CAI might need to troll M247 FS thread for that man, or ask Alex Todd. Not sure if anyone in Aus actually has a set of light weight pulleys man, theres a few of us with the lightweight UDP crank pulley but thats it AFAIK.

Buy the stuff of this man. While it seems "expensive" he's already spent the money and done the research. You're going to have to open the motor imho for any decent power.

Also I realise you want to spend as little as possible. Whats the MOST you are willing to spend. Once that's sorted, what power do you expect for that money (eg as fast as Marcs/phil's car etc) Take me as the perfect example of what not to do. I've spent twice what I could have buying stuff twice etc. Think twice, buy once...

Additionally. Take a page out of the stripping book. After seeing what a neat car Mr ghetto has, and how much he's stripped out, think about possibly doing this. He's stripped over 120kgs.

Yeah, I want to open the motor
And I've just decided that if I want the power, I'm going to spend the money that it takes, obviously cheap makes sense, but if its at the expense of quality, then its a no brainer.

I'll save up for a month or so without going anywhere or doing anything if i have to (and ive been going out a lot, even without a licence im spending money on i dont know what lol). But yeah, quality over price from now on

As far as stripping goes, I've thought about taking out back seats, but I'm fairly sure the law states that if you have harness in the back for seat belts then you have to have the seats in...
Also will probably be taking the air con system out. I barely use it as it is.

Oh really? I thought that if you got a header that had an egr our ecu can take it... unless thats the problem you encountered with your headers on caboose 1.0

Save up $5k and then rethink. Imho from what its cost me just for the motor, over 5k, the rest has cost another $5 grand to do it properly. I'm warning you! It's a trap. Haha.

Remember when we went around to my grandads sam? That was to put the EGR in the vice to stop the exhaust leak caused by having the hole there.

thanks mate, and i agree with opening the motor (need some pistons and rods or a spare block to bore and "fix" the crank? hehe)

ps, my IM that'll be for sale has no port/opening for and EGR pipe

It's probably cheaper in the long run to get an engine swap.
