bg headlight concept

how would a 300zx head light concept be like on a bg?

would that look good or am i being a dork of thinking it?

only thought about it when i had a look at a mates zx n i looked at his head lights and i was thinking of a post that i saw on here about a mx5 with projectiles replacing the pop-ups.

so would get rid of the pop-ups find and mod the projectiles put them in and put clear perspex (same shape n size as the cover) on as a cover

hence>>> the 300zx headlight concept
sound good but at the same time GOOFY!

300zx headlights are too wide and long and different shape so youd need to mod a lot

not alot of mod,just customise.

heres a pic of the projectile if i were to take out the pop-ups

and then i'll get some perspex n make a cover to give it that 300zx headlight look alike, heres a mx5 with modded headlights like the 300zx

id sa that the 323f ones are to shallow of a cut along the bonnet with ut having them stick out a bit,,,,
i think it would be rather ugly
look at head light conversions like the twins :P
and shorten the throw so they come up half way

whats the dimensions of that 180sx headlight?

It would be very possibly, with enough modification to put it in, but you really have to make sure you get the angle of light correct so your not rolling around with perfect looking headlights that light up the sky... not the road.

that or light up 2ft infront of the car.

now i just watched a vid off youtube of some astina crew(where i dont know)some where over seas, and i saw an astina pop his lights up (bg of course) 1 at a time ,like 1 went up the other went down and vice versa.
my question is ????? how do u do that?
i had an idea in my head, which is add another switch (which pretty much does the same job as the current 1 thats on the dash)thats a 3 phase and that switch will control the power to make the lights pop up independantly.
like 1 position for the left pop up,2 position for the right pop up and the 3rd to make the lights popup as normal.
am i on the right track with this idea thats in my head?

google search for flip light mods, or 180sx headlight mods, its fairly basic electronics, all via switch.
