Paid the excess on the phone, shouldn't be too long till I get the replacement... will think about getting an iPhone come October now, for when my contract runs out...

Another q, I know that the iTouch has wifi capability, but what about 3G wifi? I mean I can pick up wifi thru the N95i, seeing If I could do the same thing with the iTouch (eg the iTouch can pick up that the N95 has wifi), cause then you could have mobile net on the go

Doubt it, doubt the firmwares complex enough to share a 3g connection through wifi if the phone has it.

Yeah, i've heard of people using Skype on the iPod Touch - you just need some headphones with a microphone on them IIRC

Can't share the n95i internet across its wifi. Other phones can do it. iTouch can only connect to an access point, which is probably not possible on the n95i's part.

Remember every Mcdonalds has free wifi, so park in the car park and go wild on that iTouch, i do it all the time!

the n95 supports wifi so therefore its the same as the ipod touch only with the phone compatibilities, the iPod touch is unable to use 3g networks due to the fact it doesn't have the right device to receive it, because it does not use a simcard. All in all it comes down to the fact of whether u want to have 2 devices 1 for music and 1 for a phone or u just want the iphone.

If u go for the iphone i suggest waiting till the end of june though because thats when the new iPhone 3g S is released which has mms and video compatibilities

To answer an old question,

I have since changed my phone plan to a $59 cap, and brought on a $15 internet cap that gives me 500mb of downloads...

Waiting till I run my plan out all together till the end of October, but I doubt I will get an iphone anyways...

by then marc my friend the new iphone will be out. comes here 29th of july i think. it has 3mp camera with touch focus aparently, takes and edits videos and photos, can send and receive mms(as a part of OS3 that will b available to iphone 3g) and has a imbuilt digital compas amongst other things.
