That IM doesnt look right for an FS-ZE to me. Looks like a 626 IM which means its a FS-DE.

IF im right that is. Interestingly the coil packs are on teh front of the engine like BJIs as well.

I dont think that is a ZE as it doesn't have the funny black air box on top of the motor and if it came out of a capella it would have an aluminium box instead.
Im going to call BS on the photo being a FS-ZE.
To me it looks like an older FS-DE from a capella or even a FP-DE.
Its not a sport 20 motor as it doesn't have the mounts for the turtle shell.

I'm with Marc, it looks like a Mazda 626 manifold. So could be a fs-de From a 2003 626

Naw. They stopped making them in like 2002. If it was a GF engine then itd have coilpacks on top IIRC.

JDM Source FS-DE:

1992 GE 626 FS-DE:

2002 GF 626 FS-DE:

Pretty sure that price of $850 shipped would only be to Canada & the US 48 States..

Why don't you just email them and ask? Maybe it's a genuine typo?

Not to make you feel lost - as I can't get to any engine pics right now or any of my stuff.
but I can't remember what a FS-ZE in GW or GF looks like. It looks like as pointed out a coil pack FS-DE. but As we know in Japan Capella had both engines. Plus KL-Ze ,FP and deisels is you really want to complicate it.

IMO the best way is if you look at the gearbox. According to mazda sales. Only a Capella up to 1999 GW and GFs were avaialble with FS-ZE and a 5 speed manual. After that it was Auto only FWD same unit was used in the Premecy and it too was Auto only FWD. But my understadning Auto only 4WD in the GW's. But my Sales stuff they don't show any enigne bay pics just details like 121KW - FS-ZE FWD Auto etc - that was in the Premecy. A 2003 one.
Can't tell in the pics if it had a flex plate or if the thermostat housing has more the extra auto temp sensors. But then again late engines ran the fan control throught the ECU without the override sensor.
