looking back in your pics on post 54, it looks like the rubber stoppers should also be replaced.... part number is J002-58-910A and it is a normal part listed in the catalogue

yes - seeming like making our own is a better option, reason...

the $17 bush is also on back order in japan itself. ie not available. so there is no idea how long it would take to acquire them. talk about jump through rings of fire for such a little part. lol

Just a thought. I checked out a KIA 4wd yesterday, and its Windows suffered the same fate, and looked similar design to ours. Maybe a KIA part would fit?

Nylon window bush.

Hi guys, this is my first post so has there been any progress with these nylon window bushes recently as it seems that my grand daughter has got the same problem. If anyone has been able to make their own which works fairly satisfactory then I would love to know. I went to the local Mazda agents last week who told me that Melbourne had twelve sets and that 1 bush (not the cone shaped one) would be here by Thursday, price $4. As they hadn't contacted me on Monday I phoned them up and they said that they would chase it up and phone me straight back. One hour later they called and said that there was none in Melbourne and that they were now on order and should be here in May.
They must be coming on that Slow Boat From China.

Regards Steve.
