Nah, it didn't really help you much sorry. But I guess you could just take the valve cover off and see if the code is visible, take the code down for future reference. Then run the code past everyone to crossreference.

you could well have a stock cam as the bp takes a little work to get moving, but once above 3000 it really opens up ... above 4000 the needles flys around

checking the cam wont show if it's aftermarket or not - it could just be reground. however, when you bought the car, did the previous owner say it has aftermarket or ground cams? usually that's something you advertise...

i got the carfrom a car yard so they didnt really say anything bout the last owner

mine doesnt go much under 3000-4000 but thats because im always given it a flogin up high hehehe hardly ever have low revs except school zones
