I liked the sound of the Sugarloaf cruise thru the winding hills.
There's a ****ty (haven't been there, but from the outside) go-kart track in an old shed on entrance to Corio.[/colorost_uid0]

Are we proceeding with some time frames yet? We have a few good ideas, now let's settle it. Maybe setup a poll and go from there?[/colorost_uid0]

Why don't we have a small club cruise with those guys who want to head down Geelong way [I'll look into the go-karting thing] then the guys who also want to attend that massive cruise can do it when they have theirs. I would personally like to meet a few people here first, as well as the guys I already know.

Meet up with Dave [Dogo],Dan & Mike again, meet the other guys I haven't seen before like Bill, Dave #2 & Trav.

I'll see if I can afford to head down to Geelong over the weekend [being unemployed is a bitch!] to do a bit of reconnaissance at the local tourist centre. Plus I'd like get some photography done down there.

Um..... I forgot about the ridiculous petrol price increase, so that trip might have to wait until next week when the prices [hopefully!!] come back down..

guys,

long time no post....

i have been to ace karts in sunshine plenty of times, and b.c i've organised a few group bookings there (10+), they have offered an extra 5 mins practice for nada. We usually race the super karts (up to 75kmh) on the suzuka format... 25 mins racing... 10 mins warm up/qualifying and then 15mins race...for $45... www.acekarts.com.au

i've heard of this place in geelong, but haven't been able to find out much on it... i'll get in touch with my cousin to find out more... but yeah up for go karts for sure....after the GP though!!

as for joint club cruises, i'm all for it...just let me know when the big one is on...i'll try round up some troops.

cheers

Bill[/colorost_uid0]

TeamAZM are one of melbournes bigger car clubs...well they were once. Been around since 95 or thereabouts. Cruises, club entries in all the big shows...the usual.

oh, and AZM stands for Absolute Zero Motorsport

cheers

I signed up with TeamAZM already, haven't attended a cruise yet. I know Raj (EMIN8?), who I met at a Christmas party this year (Raj's girlfriend works with my girlfriend, and soon I will be working with both of them with my new job).

Hope to attend a cruise with AZM soon, though for some reason it won't let me log onto the new server since it found a new permenant home

I'll work it out one day . . . :O[/colorost_uid0]
