wtb: g series gearbox a.s.a.p

i blew up my gearbox , a hole the size of a 20 cent piece in the top of it, after another "g"series asap.(hope they are not too expensive)

not something everyone has laying around in there shed ... make sure you get one from the BG SP and not the first BA's as the BG uses a cable speedo drive

In the garage actually is where I keep mine not the shed. I got one a while ago for
$300 from ichiban but they didn't really know what it was from G5M01 (BA Series 1)
Anyway would expect you to get one for around $450 from a wrecker.

thats cheap for a gearbox and very cheap for a g series. people on this site have been quoted $700 before ... the gtx (4wd) version on this box goes for upto $1500

haha i've been quoted 1200 for a BA G before!

SP20 G boxes are a few thousand from memory (from the same palce though)

I don't know if it matters, but the G series box from BJ has different external castings to the BG/BA boxes...

Ditto the BA 4 and V6, and the BG. All different, with their own driveshafts
