That tacho was also optional for the N1 race version of the DW Demio

The circuit board won't live in the cluster and the guage would sit sandwiched in behind the front panel. It's a very tight fit.

Did you end up fixing all the niggly things for roadworthy?
MazdaSpeed DW Demio tacho
Work stuffed up my last pay so i've delayed the rego process for a month. Only two or three things ATM and it's the kinda stuff a mechanic has the right tools to do.

I've been collecting parts to re-attempt the climate control conversion.
Below is the front wiring loom I've lovingly removed from a CBAEP.

And the engine harness and ECU for KF-ZE, This is for the hardtop.

When it all goes together I'll put the tach in the original dash with its 240kmh range. The 7,000rpm tach will probably just gather dust.

Fitted my polished door sills today.
Ended up using using Champion PP13 screw grommets. They fit the holes perfectly. Pics are in my readers rides, click the green link below.

What do you get if you add

with?

Well, something like...

The rear dust boots were busted up. I've ordered some new ones so I can't install them this weekend

I've fitted the fronts and have about 30mm drop but as it isn't registered I can't give them a workout. Rears are waiting new dust boots.
My springs are ment for a V6 so will be a little higher and a little stronger than I4 springs.

I finished putting the Eibach/KYBs on yesterday and took it out for some pics this morning.

That's a drop of 40mm although it doesn't look like it.

I wasn't pushing the suspension hard but the ride is firm without being hard and the car felt solid.

I hope not, I like having some ground clearance.

185/60/14 front, 185/65/14 rear. I intend changing to 215/45/16 when I install the 5-stud hubs. They should fill out the guards nicely.
