[vic] WTT 17x7+40 wheels/tyres for stock mazda 15" alloys w/ tyres to suit 323BA
As above, Wanted to trade 17x7 +40ET DLX Australia alloy wheels (Made in Taiwan lol)
has some light gutter rash otherwise physically fine (balanced) - will get some close ups later comes with 205/40r17's cheap tyres, 2x rwc, 2x some camber wear. Looking to trade for 15" alloy wheels with rwc 195/55r15's tyres GF learning to drive manual and need something with more "tyre" These: on ebay now - has pics http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=291027785289

if it's only to prevent scratching these ok. but I don't believe theres much difference when learning to drive (unless it's on the touge) with different rim sizes. I Learnt on the hardest car I've even driven to date (old hardtop) with super short pick-up and heavy clutch and it was frustrating.

its mainly for parking and hitting of curbs
im a fan of 195/50r15's, use to use them on my ae86 years ago

195/50R15s are too small for a ba (diameter and load rating). you need 195/55R15s.

the original tyres that came with the car had 185/60r14's?
anyways will take what ever suits the BA

original tyres when new would've been 185/65R14. if something smaller was fitted when you purchased it, so be it.
i'd go with what is on the tyre placard and the load rating on the tyre placard. all 195/50R15s are 82 mostly, (sometime 83) load rating. but totally illegal in all states of australia. 195/55R15 are 84, (minimum for I4 BA). 185/65R14 are 86. AE86s are also 200kg lighter than BAs, hence the slightly higher load requirement. Last edited by project.r.racing; 29-11-2013 at 08:38 PM. |
