WTB: [VIC] Mazda Astina 323 Spoiler
Hi,
As I am definately purchasing a 1997 323 Astina hatch, I am wanting to buy a rear spoiler. I am wanting a genuine standard Mazda spoiler for this model that's in good condition. I am located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Let me know if you are wanting to sell and the price. Thanks |

I like the supra wing on the green one (4th)
I am definately not keen on the HUGE ones, they really do look blah! My noble green astina didn't have a wing, and I liked it that way. The astina has curves, it has shape, and anything you add to the exterior of the car needs to have the same sexy curves otherwise it's just wrong (in my ever so humble opinion). Aftermarket wings are something you can think about later anyway. You might buy one with a wing on it already, and you'll be stuck with 2!! Check out some of the astina's getting around without a wing, I really like the clean look very much. The wings suit some colours and models better than others, so look at heaps of pictures (Google maybe). And coz you're in Victoria, Pr1mo will have his eyes on the marketplace anyway, he always does Maybe he can help with some of your searches or just go along to a Melbourne cruise and meet some of the members and look at their cars. For example, I bought a 1994 BA Astina, same shape as the 1997 one you want. They changed some of the equipment levels, and brought out limited runs ie/ Shades. Have faith and relax venus05, what you want WILL come along! Cheers |

no way it adds character to the car makes it different it is slicker looking each to them self as they say (or how ever it goes) *originally i wasnt a fan of that spoiler till i started seeing them in real life and now it has kinda grown on me... ps and as kitty said some colours do look better with and without spoilers i like the white without and noble with so again all taste are different |

2nd and 3rd ones makes the car look heaps shorter, have only seen one but it just didnt look right. and if you're going to iron on the mazdaspeed wings make sure they're not waxed or even washed regularly, they're slippery buggers!

The lady, you mean
As no-one seems to have one around here, ry ringing a few mazda wreckers as they'll have one. I wouldn't think they'd be more than about $150

you see the 5th one with the huge flat rear wing,
Do you reckon I could sleep on that as it seems nice and flat, I like 4th, classy sporty Maybe 2 or 3rd If I was going showy But what would I do?? leave it off, And I really do not see the need to a pre emptive spoiler, whats the rush?? |
