Catback Sound

I got my 2.25 catback installed not too long ago. A problem ive had is when the car hasn't been driven (probably over 3 hours) the exhaust always sound a bit tinny/hollow for the first 2-3mins. This only happens in 1st and 2nd gear. After about 3 mins of driving it goes back to its nice deep tone.

Any ideas why this happens? i originally thought maybe its a bit cold and it needs to warm up a bit but i got no idea.

edit: tinny/hollow sound occurs over 3000rpm
