front interior light removal BG SP

Im wrecking my mazda and taking parts off for a guy and im trying to remove the cap that goes over the rear vision mirror but cant get it off and i dont want to break anything. Any suggestions?

A flat head screwdriver with some fabric wrapped around the pointy end. Then elbow grease. Most of the trim in our BGs is pop on/off, and there shouldn't be any special/hidden screws or anything holding that part on.

I accidently put too much elbow grease into the revision mirror and it popped right off then i just took out the screws. Thanx for your help though.
