Interior alterations BA astina
Hey guys,
I have a BA astina hard top with the V6 and leather interior. It is a creamy colour and I was saw a Lexus today which had a similar colour but was much prettier. I liked the same colour glove box and surrounding plastic as well as the same colour carpets complimented by a touch of wood grain on the steering wheel, gear stick and hand brake. Something like this... http://www.google.com.au/imgres?q=mx...9,r:9,s:0,i:86 What do people think? How would I go about changing the plastics? Can they be painted like that? What sort of paints are required? Also, I would like a short shift kit, has anyone done this? Where could I get the 'kit' from? Cheers, Kendall |

there are plastic/vinyl paints you can buy that lets you paint interior plastics to nearly any colour you want
if you had a BJ, I would've just simply told you to just find a wrecked car that has a brown/tan dashboard and interior... yes, Mazda did sell some of them with a two tone colour like that... it looks more luxurious and less sporty
