I think they are just coloured black on the non-reflective areas. In daylight they would look darker.
If it was your kind of thing they would probably look good on a dark coloured car or white with tinted glass.

Yeh.. *sigh* If you want that sort of look without the huge expense go get yourself some of those clear headlight protectors [$50 from your nearest Mazda Retailer] and get some of that tinting spray or some cheap tint film. That way you can remove it if the cops give you "hurry curry".. It IS illegal to have tinted headlights anyway.

It's not illegal, because the lights have a label, which tells there are approved and allowed

ive seen that headlight protector trick done before and it looked terrible. you could see normal shards of light come thru the bits that the tint dodnt cover. looked crap! but anyway enough from Mr Negative for one day!
