can you take a picture or type out that label on it?

i'm looking at the wiring diagrams for the BG's and the starting circuit has the EC-AT (electronic automatic transmission) control unit, ECU and cruise control (if you got it) are hooked up to it for obvious reasons. EC-AT should be in passengers footwell along with cruise control. ECU is under the headunit. i have no idea what that could be

Well thats the definitely the transmission control box. thats what the UNIT-CONT EAT (unit controller for electronic automatic transmission) means.

I'm assuming you're gonna change the loom over, which means you can get rid of that box and not worry about it as the new loom won't have those plugs or anything. Thats a odd place to have it seeing as its supposed to be in the passenger footwell according to bourbs and my workshop manual

i just had an idea,
since the clutch master cylinder just has a hose going from it to the brake fluid resiviour to get it's fluid, is there anything stopping me from just fitting a second resiviour just for the clutch instead of swapping the brake master cylinder(pain in the anus),
from where i see it it would be better and way easier cus then the clutch would have its own suply of fluid instead of sharing with the brakes__________no?

there isn't but i'd still be replacing the master cylinder. at least then i'd know that everything is as mazda designed it.

okk first off...wiring, only wiring i changed was the engine loom...

next off you can get a custom made clutch master, youd need to goto a brake and clutch place to get them to do something...there some guys here around the corner from me in herbert st called slacks creek brake and clutch... best be would to take down the master clutch cylinder and explain what you want to do...
