Aw, so if I was to use the setup I first stated, I'd be looking at like 200+KW

Haha. I don't need that much.

hey Rupe, u said in earlier posts in this thread, that the 2.0 v6 ecu wont work with the KL-ZE.

Mr MX6 said on mx6.com that it will run almost as it should with the KF ecu and that a KL 36 ecu for the KLZE doesnt match up, it just doesn't plug in at all in the BA v6.

Im confused, is it possible to plug in the ecu, or a piggy back ecu is needed?

Also Found the thread on the FE3 engine, but reading it might not go into a BA?

Yup, the old TX3 I used to work on got 206whp before sending a rod thru the back of the block. then i pourchased the engine. then went in a BPD to replace it.

mods were:-
stock BPT
front mount intercooler w/ 2.75" piping
3" mandrel bent exhaust
pod air filter
Wolf V4 or V3 ecu
cant remember the clutch, but it grabbed harshly.

thing didn't spool until 4000rpm cos of all the extra piping. the wheels were also big 17" chromes, so might have got a few extra hp if used good light 15s.

An FE3 will fit in an Astina but it's not a bolt in job. It uses a G series trans like the early I4 and V6 with a different bell housing.
I want to put an FE3 in my hatch knowing that there are no instructions.
